We're so glad you're here!
Our Orange Ave Youth Group (OAY) is for 6th to 12th grade students. Our aim is to raise up the next generation of Christians who love God and love people, who are confident in their own faith, and who become disciple makers for generations to come!
What does the youth group do?
BIBLE CLASSES
OAY meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the youth group room. We study books of the Bible and various topics.
DEVOTIONALS
During the school year, our high schoolers meet most Monday nights at the Simpson''s home and our middle schoolers meet once a month at the McCoy's home.
EVENTS & RETREATS
OAY always has something to look forward to whether's is a lock-in, pickleball day, service project, fall retreat, winter retreat, or spring retreat!
WEEK LONG TRIPS
Every June we attend a Huntsville, AL work camp. In July many of our teens go to Watson Week at CFBC. Also in July, our older teens can join our Jamaica Mission trip!

Meet the OAY team

Youth Minister: Scott Simpson
Scott Simpson began working for Orange Ave in July 2014. Scott and his wife, Brittany, are both passionate about youth ministry and serve as a powerful team for our teens. They have two sons, Cooper and Jack, who also love hanging out with the youth group!

Middle School Lead: Letson McCoy
Letson moved to the area, along with his wife Laura, in August 2018. Not long after, they began volunteering with the youth group on a regular basis. In June of 2026, Letson officially began serving at the middle school ministry lead.
